The 17th Sensometrics Conference will be held at the conference center of Pasteur Institute in Paris, France.

The Pasteur Institute is a private, non-profit French foundation, based in Paris. Created in 1888 thanks to international public subscription, it is named after Louis Pasteur, its founder and first director. 

The Pasteur Institute in Paris is made up of 144 research units, 24 technological platforms and nearly 2,930 people. There are 500 permanent scientists, and 600 passing through each year, from 70 different countries. It also has centers in Pointe-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe), Cayenne (Guyana) and Nouméa (New Caledonia). The institute is also at the center of a global network of 31 institutes (23,000 employees) which are particularly dedicated to medical problems in developing countries; it also includes a diploma study center and an epidemiological targeting unit.

The Institut Pasteur is a research center of international renown ideally located in the very heart of Paris. Each year the institute hosts a multitude of scientific and medical conferences and meetings as well as events on a variety of themes.
